Beer marinated chicken legs are surprisingly delicious, even if you don't particularly like beer!  These are really tender and flavorful.  We used Leinenkugel's beer for this recipe the first time, complements of Dave's trip to Wisconsin, but we have since used 'Angry Orchard' Apple Cider Beer.  Those were really good, too.

Quick and Easy Penne Pasta with Beef and Marinara Sauce

Using Barilla Pronto Pasta makes this dish so quick and easy, you won't believe it.  Using the 'basic Marinara sauce' recipe and a pound of seasoned browned beef added to the pasta makes a meal in a skillet.  All you have to do is shred cheese on the top and serve.

These ribs are rubbed with a dry rub and baked in the oven.  My family likes them just like this, right out of the oven, but you can use your favorite barbecue sauce if desired.

Beef Stew

This is the only beef or venison stew recipe I use.  Within an hour, you can have the best tasting stew you have ever had.  The meat is so tender and the sauce if so flavorful.

This beef vegetable soup is actually a vegetable-laden dish that even my picky eater, Will, likes!  He always called it "that soup with the green beans in it."  If you like those canned vegetable soups, you are going to love this soup!

 This breakfast casserole is prepared the night before and baked the morning of your brunch or breakfast!  Super easy to make, it is hearty and loaded with sausage, bread, and eggs.

Best Burger Ever

This is the best recipe for a moist and flavorful burger!   The secret ingredients are grated fresh onion and an egg to add moistness and flavor.

After having a chicken and rice casserole from the frozen department of the grocery, I set about to create a more flavorful version.  This recipe is the end result of that work.

This is another easy and delicious chicken dish with the chicken and broth recipe as a base.  It has a little kick of heat to it and it is definitely a favorite in our home.

Chicken Brunswick Stew ladled over white rice is delicious and hearty!  This is another recipe made with my stewed chicken and broth as a base.

Cooking chicken tenders is quick and easy but this dish is full of flavor, too. The chicken tenders are cut in half lengthwise and fry up in just a few minutes. Thin spaghetti, (my favorite brand is Barilla), cooks in 6 minutes! The spaghetti is tossed in the pan drippings. You can imagine how quickly you can have dinner on the table.

The easiest cranberry sauce you can make and it is tasty in its simplicity.  No marshmallows or nuts, just slightly tart cranberry flavor with a hint of orange remains.

 The best fish batter recipe, 'Duane's Northwood Fish Fry Recipe',  was given to me by my mother-in-law, who lives in Wisconsin.  Of course, living in Wisconsin, they would have great fish recipes!

Green bean bundles are easy to prepare in advance and bake just before your meal.  They taste delicious and look pretty impressive, too.

I can remember having this almost every week.  You might think I would have an aversion to this meal, but it is still one of my favorite meals.  This recipe has much more flavor than the one we had back home.

Made with a bread maker, these are incredibly easy and delicious!  If you don't have a bread maker, invest in one.  You won't regret it!  The ingredients go in the bread maker and you take out the dough in 2 hours.  Shape, allow to rise, and then bake.  It's that easy!

If you love tortilla chips and queso or salsa, you simply must try making these homemade tortilla chips!

Never heard of this until we moved to Kentucky.  It is kind of like a very moist cornbread pudding, which is delicious.  It is definitely a favorite here.

Mushroom Appetizer

You won't believe how good this 'Mushroom Appetizer' is!  Oh my gosh!  It is so delicious!  Baby Portabella mushrooms, onions, herbs, spices, and sourdough bread combine to create a taste tempting appetizer you won't forget!

This nasturtium vinaigrette is so pungently fragrant and equally delicious.  The pretty nasturtium flowers on a baby greens salad make a lovely and delicious salad.

Pizza Appetizers

These little appetizers are loaded with Italian flavors.  Make these and freeze in a Ziploc bag.  Pop them in the oven under the broiler for a quick after school snack.

Potato Soup

This is the creamiest, most delicious, hearty potato soup ever!   Top with bacon pieces, sliced green onions or chives.  Delicious!

Red Pepper Ham Roll-Ups

Red Pepper Ham Roll-Ups are such a festive looking appetizer.  They are requested by the kids for every Christmas party.

These baby roasted potatoes are so simple and delicious!  They make an easy side dish, just olive oil and herbs, and seasoning, roasted in a sheet pan.  Easy!

 This recipe for "Roasted Broccoli Cheese Soup" is a little bit of a deviation from the original "Panera's Broccoli Cheese Soup" recipe.  It is a hearty soup.  Add some fresh baked bread and you have a meal!

I love pork tenderloin!  This recipe makes a tempting flavorful roasted pork tenderloin with a little flavor from mustard. 

If you love shrimp scampi, you will love this recipe!  Dave and I went to an expensive restaurant on the coast and we both agreed this recipe beat their version all to heck!

Shrimp Spread

This recipe is a favorite given to me by a lovely lady from my hometown over forty years ago.  It has become a holiday tradition to have it each year at our Christmas party.  It is also very addictive!  You can't stop eating it!
